Montage Cinema Revived by the EMO-Synth is een interaktief multimedia-projekt waarin artificiële intelligentie de emotionele impakt van automa-tisch gegenereerd beeld en geluid maximaliseert. Multimedia-kunstenaar, muzikant en doctor in de wiskunde Valery Vermeulen is de drijvende kracht achter dit projekt dat intussen al een hele geschiedenis kent en op de fascinerende grens tussen wetenschap, muziek en kunst balanceert. Dat we bij Logos scherp afgelijnde opinies koesteren, zal niemand verbazen. Voor deze editie heeft onze crew enkele politiek getinte performances in petto, alsook een zekere dosis positieve Verneinung en een update van The People United Will Never Be Defeated. En we krijgen ook referenties aan Noh-teater, het klassieke Japanse muziekdrama dat dateert uit de 14de eeuw. Kan het aktueler? Antwoord: NO.

Kobe Vancauwenberghe specialiseert zich in de harde kern van de heden-daagse gitaarmuziek, waarbij hij een reguliere dosis New Complexity allerminst schuwt. Inmiddels heeft hij in New York City behoorlijke credits opgebouwd, en op dit solorecital presenteert hij stukken die jonge komponisten uit The Big Apple speciaal voor hem komponeerden. Met kreaties van Aaron Einbond, Christopher Trapani, Rama Gottfried, Paul Clift en Alex Mincek.
