Pretty good timing: de futuristische beweging heeft een kleine maar blijvende wonde geslagen in de muziekgeschiedenis van de vroege twintigste eeuw. In de periode 1900 - 1915 werden immers grensverleggende konsepten uitgedacht die voornamelijk uit Italië kwamen. Futurisme heeft de toekomst als onderwerp, dus mag het niet alleen bij die ene periode blijven.
